谷歌称最高法院裁决可能颠覆互联网

谷歌在提交给最高法院的一份新摘要中表示，缩减免责条款可能会导致互联网巨头屏蔽更多潜在的冒犯性内容——包括有争议的政治言论——同时也会导致较小的网站放弃过滤器，以避免因筛选内容而产生的责任。

谷歌在其摘要中表示，最高法院应该拒绝采用新颖的、未经检验的理论，这些理论有可能将当今的互联网转变为在过度审查的主流网站和充斥着可能令人反感内容的边缘网站之间被迫做出选择。

谷歌是Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL)的子公司，拥有YouTube，YouTube是这起2月21日在最高法院进行口头辩论案件的中心。

这起案件是由2015年在巴黎伊斯兰国(ISIS)恐怖袭击中丧生的Nohemi Gonzalez的家人提起的。原告指称，谷歌旗下的YouTube向用户推荐伊斯兰国的视频，从而帮助了该恐怖组织。
